BEHAVIOURAL- BASED SELECTION PROGRAMME

Brief Description


Unlike knowledge and skills that can be acquired through teaching and training, a person’s attitude is not as easy to develop. Formal interviews may allow the organization to discover some “obvious” things about a candidate but it is quite difficult to gauge the prominent “characteristics” of that individual. Knowing that, most organizations have adopted the approach of ‘Train for skills, Hire (or promote) for attitude’, simply because we would always want people who possess behavioural traits that are aligned and consistent with the values and beliefs of the organization.


Take-Away


Organization will:
• Be able to assess the candidates behaviours and attitude through a structured process, and
• Make informed decision with regards to hiring or promotion


For Who


Assessment candidates could be for new hires, promotion to higher grade or position, evaluation for confirmation exercise of recruitment for specific roles and responsibilities
